Growing further in refrigeration technology
From work planner to purchaser, from technician to foreman, engineer or project leader
Who are you, what do you want and what suits you? These are questions we regularly ask our employees. Because within Voets & Donkers you can go in all kinds of directions. From work planner to purchaser, from technician to foreman, engineer or project leader.
Our people are our greatest strength. When they do what they are good at and what they enjoy, it works to the advantage of our entire company. We work more pleasantly, our people are happier and we are more successful as a company. That’s why we think it’s important to keep in touch with our people. With where they are now and what they want in the future. More challenge, for example, or taking a step back. We are happy to facilitate our employees in this. With (specialised) training or by ‘learning by doing’.
For example, we have Derk: our former work planner, whose goal is to grow into the sales team. In order to get there, he must of course have the right luggage: technical knowledge, so that he knows exactly what he is selling. That’s why he’s now acquiring this knowledge within our team of engineers, and will soon be able to work as a full member of our sales team.
Ruben is also a good example of how you can develop as an employee within our company. After once starting as an intern and Saturday helper, he is now one of the most important people in our drawing office. He develops the 3D models of our refrigeration systems. And so there are even more people within our company who have made dynamic careers. Like Michael, who’s worked his way up from workshop manager to head of the drawing office. Or take the story of Roel, who started with us as a purchaser, then became a refrigeration engineer and will soon start his job as operational manager at Voets & Donkers. We are proud of these people and the way they (continue to) develop.
It is clear: if you join us through a vacancy, you can go in all sorts of directions. But you don’t have to. If you don’t want to grow, you just keep doing what you’re good at. We’ll be very happy with you then, too. Because with all the links in the right place, we can achieve the best results as a team, now and in the future.
