As a cheese producer, you know better than anyone that there are countless types of cheese and that each cheese has its own properties. The air conditions in your warehouse play a major role in this; after all, they determine to a large extent how your cheese matures and (therefore) tastes.

At Voets & Donkers we have been supplying installations for the cheese industry for decades. Our customer base consists of both large and small cheese producers throughout the Netherlands. We combine our extensive experience with up-to-date knowledge of products and techniques. This way, we can advise you on the right air conditions for your process and form a professional and reliable partner for you as a cheese producer.

Exactly the right air conditions

In order for your cheese to ripen optimally, the air in your warehouse must be of a correct and constant quality. Both humidity and temperature play a role here. If the air is too dry, the cheese will dry out. If the air is too humid, mould will form. It is our specialty to create exactly the right air conditions you want for your type of cheese.

We do this, for example, with a self-developed HE dehumidification system. This system ensures that the moisture emitted by the cheese to the ambient air during the ripening process is removed. The high-efficiency system dehumidifies the air in a very energy-efficient way. In addition, we can measure the amount of drained condensation water. Information you can use for quality control and the (further) optimisation of your cheese!”

Constant air quality

In addition to good air quality, a constant air condition in your warehouse is also very important. This way, every cheese in the warehouse is of the same quality after ripening.
